Ruby with purple highlights, it takes on garnet red hues when diluted. It has a citrus fruit aroma that fades into rhubarb, gentian and cinchona and a finale of small red fruits. It is smooth on the palate, with an intense and persistent bitter aftertaste. Ideal with clear spirits (vodka and gin), fortified wines (vermouth) and fruit juices. It combines excellently with non-alcoholic spirits for virgin cocktails and mocktails. When mixed with orange juice and ice, it creates the non-alcoholic version of the classic Garibaldi cocktail.
