Deep black in appearance with caramel undertones, it retains its hue when diluted. Its aroma features intense roasted hints of kola nuts and spicy hints of vanilla and cinnamon. It is smooth and enveloping on the palate, with a lingering aftertaste. Excellent paired with clear and dark spirits (rum) and is excellent with non-alcoholic spirits for virgin cocktails and mocktails. Combined with high-quality white rum, lime and ice, it forms the basis for the Cuba Libre.
