Shake&Strain

The Shake&Strain technique serves to blend and chill three or more ingredients (with some exceptions) to be served without ice. Pour the ingredients into a Boston Shaker filled with ice, shake vigorously for about ten seconds, open the shaker and strain the contents into the glass leaving the ice in the shaker.

Handy tip

When using the Boston Shaker, the bottom of the mixing tin should face the client so that if anything accidently squirts out (because it wasn’t properly closed), it does not end up on the client!
